![]() ![]() I went through the instructor Method of Learning course and took the land nav. After some long discussions I decided to join the Army reserve. The Battalion commander called me and invited me to drill with them to see what they do, and see if I would be interested in joining the training team as a land nav. The school unit didn't have anyone trained in land nav. The Army at that time was starting NCO leadership training, and land navigation and reconnaissance patrolling was part of that training. Oct 97 He was promoted to Sergeant Major G-3 Operations NCOIC 75th Division. ![]() He then moved to the 3rd Battalion 289th Infantry Regiment 2nd Brigade 75th Division (Ex) Beaumont, TX as the S-3 Battalion Operation Sergeant. In Oct 1993 He moved to an Operation Sergeant with 1st Brigade Engineer Group 75th Division (Ex) Houston, TX for two years. Infantry, 51B Carpenter/Masonry, and 51B30 Construction Supervisor. He instructed MOS courses in 11B Infantry, 11B Mech. He instructed noncommissioned Officers Education System classes in PNCOC, PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, Battle Focus, and Small Group Leadership. He advanced to senior instructor E-8 Master Sergeant. He joined the Army Reserve in March 1981 as assistant instructor in the 4161at United States Army Reserve Force (USARF) School, under the 90th ARCOM, 5th Army. Discharged in Nov.1976 as a Corporal with an USMC Reserve Medal, National Defense Service Medal, expert rifle badge, and sharpshooter pistol badge. He was in Delta Company, 1st Battalion 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division. 3, 1970 as an infantry grunt (0311) with the United States Marines Corps. We have finally built our home on the property and enjoying retired life.Ĭommand Sergeant Major Dana Braquet started his military career on Dec.
